Weekly adult Choir rehearsals kick off starting Weds, Sept 8 at 7:30 p.m. at Abiding Presence! We’ll gather and sing and share and enjoy some snacks each Wednesday, and help lead worship each Sunday. If you can’t come weekly, that is OK! Come when you can and know that all are welcome regardless of experience level. Contact David E. Join us for our first in-person rehearsal and social at Abiding Presence on Wednesday! This choir rehearsal is for fully-vaccinated adults (and middle/high school youth with director permission). Masks are required and will be available for any who need one. We’ll sing for about 45 minutes and then share cookies on the patio!

Calling all OWLs (Older, Wiser Lutherans)! It’s time for our monthly drive-in concert. This month’s concert is a mystery musician! You can listen from your car with the windows rolled down or through our FM transmitter or you can bring a lawn chair and sit in a parking space. Enjoy the music and the chance to reconnect with friends. Simply show up, no RSVP necessary!
As with all parking lot events at Abiding Presence, please wear a mask, practice social distancing and stay home if you aren’t feeling well. Please note that these safety measures will be required of everyone regardless of vaccination status.

Our Good Friday Tenebrae service will feature musical selections from the original 1893 version of Gabriel Faure’s Requiem and the reading of the passion story. This pre-recorded service will premiere at 12:00 noon and 7:00 p.m.

Artists our congregation guide students in interactive activities, and all supplies are provided. We will run two concurrent groups: one for upper elementary school, and one for middle/high school. We will meet outdoors in the parking lot at Abiding Presence. Signup is required so that we can have supplies ready to go!
It’s our third meeting for outdoor band & orchestra, including wind players (woodwind & brass), and rhythm section instruments (piano/keyboard/percussion/guitars), and strings (violin/viola/cello/double bass)! We all meet 2:00 - 3:15 p.m. on Sunday, March 21 in the parking lot at Abiding Presence. Signup is required so we can get sheet music to you!

Join us on Sunday, October 25 from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for an outdoor handbell/handchime activity for ringers of all ability levels! This activity is open to all adults, as well as students in middle school and high school. Younger students may join too if they participate alongside a parent/guardian. We’ll learn to play some basic tunes and have fun making music together out in the Abiding Presence parking lot! Signup is required.
We’re launching our Small Arts Groups for students in 4th-12th grade! Sunday, October 18 at 2:15 p.m. we have a very special visual art afternoon. Ed Siomacco Jr. joins us via Zoom to talk about his work as a visual effects artist, illustrator, cartoonist, and filmmaker. Ed is currently a Creature Technical Director at Industrial Light and Magic and has worked on films including Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker, Captain Marvel, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Aquaman, The Angry Birds Movie, both Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs films, Hotel Transylvania, I Am Legend, and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe among others. Check out some of his recent work here! Afterward, artists from our congregation (including Diane Frykman) guide students in interactive drawing activities. All supplies are provided and students get to keep their drawing pads to continue their creativity at home! Signup is required and slots are limited.
