Adult Choir rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. from September through June; we also have just-show-up-and-sing choir singing opportunities from time to time (stay tuned to the weekly e-news). Our choir sings repertoire of all eras, from early music to new commissions. As worship leaders during the Sunday morning traditional service and various special services, the choir is integral to supporting congregational participation in worship. If you love to sing, this is a great way to be involved!

  • Open to all adults, high school students, and (with director permission) middle school students

  • For choir singers: visit AbidingPresence.net/practicetracks for upcoming music!

There are Two ways to be involved in Youth Music for Spring 2025:

  1. 6th-12th grade students: join our Youth Music Ensemble!

  2. High school musicians (and with director permission, middle school musicians) may also participate in adult music ensembles, including the 9:00 Worship Ensemble, Adult Choir, and others listed on this page!

Sing, Play, Move, and Pray with Ms. Nicole and Dr. Dave! We are delighted to continue Abiding Kids Music this year with an opportunity for our Preschool through 3rd grade students on Tuesdays starting from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m.

The Hallelujah Ringers (intergenerational Handbell Choir) is open to all adults and youth; no experience or prior music-reading ability necessary. In fact, ringing handbells is a great way to learn some basic sheet music reading skills! We rehearse two to three times prior to each worship service in which we play, and we ring in worship about once every 1-2 months during the program year.

Our string and wind players participate regularly in the 9:00 Worship Ensemble, alongside our Choir in the traditional service, and in special services and major holidays throughout the year. Orchestral musicians are scheduled as needed, according to individual availability. Abiding Presence Orchestra is open to all adults, high school students, and (with director permission) middle schoolers. Some advanced elementary school musicians may also participate with director permission.
