Calling all multigenerational households! Abiding Presence hosts a free monthly Multigenerational Living Support Group geared toward the older generation (i.e., grandparents or great-grandparents) living in the home. The group is facilitated by Sarah Tran, MSW, our Therapist in Residence. Please share the information about this group with those you know as it is open to the community.

Tuesday, June 16 at 12:30 p.m. (NOTE the special time!)

You are invited to tea with the college-age interns. Enjoy a cup of tea (or coffee), finger sandwiches, scones, and pastries while getting to know our college-age interns. Wear your fancy hats and fascinators or come in casual dress (like our interns who will be wearing their "STAFF" shirts) to share in a meal and conversation together. RSVP with an email or a phone call to the church at 703-455-7500.

This will serve as our last OWLs luncheon until the fall.

Saturday, June 20 at approximately 2:30 p.m. in DC

Abiding Presence will be joining the Metro-DC Synod in walking in the DC Pride Parade. Loud and proud, we will share God’s love and proclaim that all are made in the image of God.

We will have t-shirts for all our Abiding Presence walkers. There’s a suggestion donation of $8/shirt. Donate online here and choose “Pride Shirt.”
