PRESCHOOL & ELEMENTARY SUMMER MINISTRY
8 Camps, 8 Weeks & Endless Fun
Summer sun is on the horizon and we are thrilled to be launching eight weeks of summer day camps at Abiding Presence. Weeks one through three will be geared toward preschoolers. Weeks four through eight will be for rising kindergarten through 5th grade. Additionally, we will have Counselor-in-Training camp opportunities for rising 6th graders during all five of our elementary camps.
At Abiding Presence, our summer camps allow kids to engage in age-appropriate experiences that are hands on, tons of fun and form faith through activities kids want to do. From Bible stories to art projects, science experiments to group games, your kids will have tons of fun all while making friends and growing their faith. Our camps are outdoors (weather permitting) with an indoor option as need.
Registration is LIVE! Each week of camp is $70/camper (Preschool Camp 1: Time Travelers is $60). Scholarships are available. Camp fees are due at the time of registration and are non-refundable. Questions, contact Children & Family Minister, Michaela Putnam-Kwon, at michaela@abidingpresence.net.
We’re a church, so our summer camps are religious. We believe God’s love is wide and inclusive of all people. Whoever you are, whatever your background, you will be welcome at camp.

Preschool Camp 1: Time Travelers
May 28-31 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Jump back in time with us and visit some of our favorite people in the Bible! From Jonah and the whale to Jesus and the Disciples it will be one epic blast from the past. This week will be filled with summer fun including games, arts & crafts, Bible lessons, and more! Register here.
Open to children age 3 by the first day of camp through rising kindergarteners. Children should be potty trained before the start of camp, which is to say, we understand accidents happen but our staff isn’t able to change diapers/pullups.
Preschool Camp 2: Bug Camp
June 3-7 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Butterflies, Spiders, and Ants! Oh my! This week we will encounter some friendly bugs and learn how they can teach us about Jesus. This week will be filled with summer fun including games, arts & crafts, Bible lessons, and more! Register here.

June 10-14 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Did you know the Bible is full of bright, beautiful colors? Well lace up your sneakers and get ready to learn about the colors of the Bible this week at Color Camp. This week will be filled with summer fun including games, arts & crafts, Bible lessons, and more! Register here.

Elementary Camp 1: Bible Doughnuts
June 17-21 from 12:00-3:00 p.m.
Sweet things are coming to Bible Doughnuts Camp this summer. We are going to explore how a box of doughnuts has more in common with the Bible than first meets the eye. We will learn about super sweet Bible lessons, play games, create arts & crafts, and more! Register here.

Elementary Camp 2: Camp “Do Justice”
June 24-28 from 12:00-3:00 p.m.
Elementary Schoolers will follow the example set in the gospel of Matthew through a week of service camp. Each day will feature lessons and service activities from neighborhood partners as we reflect on Jesus’ teachings! Together we explore what service can look like for all ages. Register here.

Elementary Camp 3: Space Camp
July 8-12 from 12:00-3:00 p.m.
3…2…1…Blast Off! Join us for Space Camp, where we will learn about out of this world Bible stories. From the Creation story to the Heavenly Hosts, you won’t want to miss the adventure. Join us for tons summer fun including games, arts & crafts, Bible lessons, and more! Register here.

Elementary Camp 4: Camp Underdogs
July 15-19 from 12:00-3:00 p.m.
God works through each and every one of us and sometimes in ways we don’t expect. This week we will explore stories of unlikely people accomplishing incredible feats with God. We will bring our Bible stories to life with arts & crafts, games and more! Register here.

Elementary Camp 5: Bible Olympics
July 22-26 from 12:00-3:00 p.m.
The 2024 Summer Olympics are upon us and we are celebrating big at Abiding Presence. Running races doesn’t just happen at the Olympics, but in the Bible too. We are going to explore how some of our favorite Olympic events can teach us more about Jesus. Join us for summer fun filled with arts & crafts, games and more! Register here.

6th Grade Counselor-In-Training Camp
Opportunities available during all Elementary Camps!
Calling all rising sixth graders to join us for an exciting summer at Abiding Presence. Sixth graders are invited to sign-up for “CIT” camp once this summer over one of our Elementary Summer Camps. Here they will learn leadership skills as they dive into the week’s Bible theme while supporting our younger campers. Registration is open now! To register please visit our Sign-Up Genius to sign-up your CIT for a specific week of camp. After that, you can fill out the camp registration form.

6th-12th Grade Musical Theater Day Camp
Camp: July 15-19 • 9:00-3:00 p.m.
Performance: July 19 • 4:00 p.m.
Calling all rising 6th-12th grade students who love to sing and/or act and/or dance: you’re invited to join our 2024 Musical Theater Day Camp to “tell the tale of a dreamer like you.” We’re collaborating with Temple B’nai Shalom to put on a production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s mega-hit musical… and we’re rehearsing and performing it in only ONE WEEK!
