Abiding Fellows
Abiding Fellows is one of the many ministries that make Abiding Presence a unique congregation. Abiding Fellows are 10th-12th graders who enter into an intentional leadership development and faith formation program. Abiding Fellows serve as elementary Sunday School workshop leaders, Summer Camp Cabin Leaders, participate in worship and music ministry, and more.
Abiding Fellows is a stipend program. In other words, students get paid. As a church, we think investing in young people as leaders and followers of Jesus is one of the best uses of our resources. Abiding Fellows get valuable work experience and a taste of “adulting” in an environment that is supportive.

Through their experience as an Abiding Fellow, 10th-12th grade students will have opportunities to:
· grow in their relationship with God,
· spend time thinking about vocation through the lens of faith,
· connect with peers and the Abiding Presence community in meaningful ways,
· develop authentic inter-generational relationships
· gain valuable leadership and work experience

2026 Summer Abiding Fellows
Abby
Abby is a rising junior. In her free time, Abby enjoys reading, listening to music, taking part in Scouts, and socializing. This is Abby’s second summer working for Abiding Presence. Abby loves working for Abiding Presence because of the opportunity to work with children, peers, and adults in the church as well as the chance to make an impact in each camper’s life. This summer, Abby is looking forward to growing in workplace skills.
Abigail
Abigail is a rising sophomore and FIRST YEAR blue shirt. In her free time, Abigail loves to bake and go biking. This is Abigail’s FIRST summer working for Abiding Presence. This summer, Abigail is excited to work for Abiding Presence because of the opportunities she’ll have, such as building connections within the community. Abigail is looking forward to learning how to better understand and meet children’s needs through communication and connection.
Andrew
Andrew is a rising senior! Andrew’s hobbies/interests include weightlifting, fishing, hiking, and camping. This is Andrew’s second summer working for Abiding Presence, and he is excited to be back because he loves that this position allows him to grow his faith while teaching about Christianity. One thing Andrew is looking forward to learning this summer is how to better help campers have the best experience each week.
Annika
Annika is a rising sophomore and FIRST YEAR blue shirt. Annika’s interests include playing soccer as well as learning about World War history and Australia. This is Annika’s FIRST summer working for Abiding Presence. Annika loves working for Abiding Presence because it allows her to learn more and grow closer to God whilst having fun with her friends. Annika is looking forward to meeting new friends this summer.

Aurora
Aurora is a rising sophomore and FIRST YEAR blue shirt. Aurora loves to take part in the marching band, play video games, do gem art, and play soccer. This is Aurora’s FIRST summer working for Abiding Presence. Aurora is excited to join us this summer because of all of the new people she’ll meet. This summer, Aurora is looking forward to stepping out of her comfort zone.
Bree
Bree is a rising senior! In her free time, Bree enjoys writing, reading, taking part in theatre, being in nature, and she loves dinosaurs and comics. This is Bree’s second summer working for Abiding Presence. Bree loves coming to work for Abiding Presence because she loves working with kids and being in such a supportive environment. This summer, Bree hopes to step out of her comfort zone and take risks.

Charlotte
Charlotte is a rising sophomore and FIRST YEAR blue shirt. Outside of camp, Charlotte enjoys playing the cello, reading books, and is on both the Color Guard and Gymnastics teams at her school. This is Charlotte’s third summer working for Abiding Presence. Charlotte loves coming to work for Abiding Presence because she loves being able to lead the kids and become a role model for each one. This summer, Charlotte is looking forward to learning how to best be a leader with as much joy, compassion, and empathy as possible.
Chasen
Chasen is a rising junior. In his free time, Chasen enjoys traveling and playing baseball. This is Chasen’s second summer working for Abiding Presence. Chasen loves to work for Abiding Presence because he loves to work with kids and help them learn about God. This summer, Chasen is looking forward to learning more about the Bible and prayer.
Christian
Christian is a rising sophomore and FIRST YEAR blue shirt. Christian’s hobbies/interests include knitting, crocheting, and sewing. Christian is also interested in architecture. This is Christian’s FIRST summer working for Abiding Presence. Christian loves coming to work for Abiding Presence because it allows him to build new skills in a welcoming environment. This summer, Christian is looking forward to leading cabin groups and working with children.

Drew enjoys coming to work for Abiding Presence each summer because of its safe space. This summer, Drew hopes to make a meaningful impact on campers’ lives.
Dylan
Dylan is a rising senior! Dylan’s hobbies/interests include archery, engineering, and playing video games. This is Dylan’s third summer working for Abiding Presence. Dylan loves coming to work for Abiding Presence because he has the opportunity to make a positive impact on children’s lives and see his friends. This summer, Dylan is excited to learn what being a purple shirt is like for next summer.

Julia
Julia is a rising sophomore and FIRST YEAR blue shirt. In her free time, Julia is a competitive dancer, and this is Julia’s fifth summer working for Abiding Presence. Julia loves working for Abiding Presence and is excited to step into a new position and work with kids from all backgrounds. This summer, Julia is looking forward to experiencing what it is like to be an Abiding Fellow.

Moriah
Moriah is a rising sophomore and FIRST YEAR blue shirt. In her free time, Moriah is a dancer, and this is Moriah’s third year working at Abiding Presence. Moriah loves coming to work here because she loves spending time with kids and getting to know their interests. This summer, Moriah hopes to grow relationships with every camper and provide them the best camp experience.

Nathan is a rising senior! In his free time, Nathan enjoys playing football and rugby, as well as working out and being in nature. This is Nathan’s second summer working for Abiding Presence, and he loves coming to work every summer because he enjoys working with kids and being able to provide them with a good role model. This summer, Nathan hopes to form deeper connections with Christ, give each camper the best experience, and teach kids about Jesus.
Noah

Oliver
Noah is a rising senior! Noah’s interests include Star Wars, rock engraving, and Legos. This is Noah’s FIRST summer working for Abiding Presence, and he is excited to join the program because he loves being able to help others. This summer, Oliver is looking forward to fostering a safe, fun, and welcoming environment for every camper.
Owen
Owen is a rising junior, and in his free time, he enjoys playing video games and weightlifting. This is Owen’s second summer working for Abiding Presence, and he loves coming to work because he loves the community here and the chance to build skills and gain valuable work experience. This summer, Owen hopes to further his professional skills while working with every camper.
Sage E
Sage is a rising sophomore and FIRST YEAR blue shirt. In their free time, Sage enjoys acting, construction, choir, percussion, and embroidery. This is Sage’s third summer working at Abiding Presence, and loves coming to work at Abiding Presence because they love working with kids and providing them with the best camp experience while growing closer to God.
