A Blue Christmas
This year has been hard. Like Charlie Brown in the “Charlie Brown Christmas,” many of us struggle to find the joy and excitement that feels expected for the Christmas season.
The Blue Christmas Service has always been a space for it to be OK to be not OK. This year, we hope that you will give yourself the space to breathe, grieve, and maybe even laugh in the sacred space that God offers us to be fully human, fully present, and fully not OK. Light a candle, sing a song, and share in the human stories of darkness and light, sorrow and joy, and redemptive hope that comes in the strangest forms.
