Life and death stand side by side as we enter into Good Friday. Jesus reveals the power and glory of God, even as he is put on trial and sentenced to death. Standing with the disciples at the foot of the cross, we pray for the whole world in the ancient bidding prayer, as Christ’s death offers life to all. We gather in solemn devotion, but always with the promise that the tree around which we assemble is indeed a tree of life.

Abiding Kids on Good Friday
Our 30-minute children’s service offers the story of Jesus’ crucifixion in an age-appropriate and interactive way. Through dialogue with puppets, scripture, prayers, music and more, we will worship together. Prior to the service, we will host a pizza dinner. RSVP for the pizza dinner at abidingpresence.net/good-friday-dinner. We will collect free will donations to cover the cost of the pizza. Questions? Abiding Youth on Good Friday
All 7th-12th graders are invited to join us on Good Friday for a mini lock-in. Attend worship together at 7:30 p.m., eat pizza dinner together, do a Stations of the Cross Workshop and play a game.
