Plan to bring your pets to our annual Pet Blessing service. Animals of all shapes and sizes (including stuffed animals!) are invited to this brief, pet and child-friendly service held outside in the fenced area. We will give thanks to God for our pets and enjoy a snack, both for the humans and the pets.

Sara Dyson, Children & Family Minister, is stepping down from her position at the end of July and stepping back "into the pews" as a church member and mom. We will celebrate Sara's ministry with us next Sunday, July 21 with a send off during both services and a reception between the services at 9:45 a.m. Please join us as we say "thank you" for Sara's work.
Join us for Wednesday Night Hot Dog and S'mores. 6:00 p.m. on the patio. This is a fun event for the whole family! Roast hot dogs and marshmallows over a fire pit and enjoy fellowship with other adults and families. Everyone is welcome to come and all food and fixing's will be provided. There will also be bubbles and chalk for the kids, and the playground is always open for parents to take their kids to after dinner. In the event of rain, the decision will be made on the morning of as to whether it will be cancelled or not. There will be a freewill offering basket, with a suggested donation of $4/person or $10/family.
It's time to have some summer fun! Confirmation youth will participate together in the congregation-wide hot dogs and s'mores event (bring $4/person or $10/family for the donation). From 6:45-8:00 p.m. they will play games (Capture the Flag?) and have fun. Wear shoes in which you can run! Please RSVP to Jon at email@example.com.
All senior high youth (rising, current, and alumni) are invited to join us for our annual Senior High Lake Anna Trip. We will leave early on Saturday, June 15th and return home that evening. The cost is $20/person, which will help offset the cost of lunch, dinner and gas for the boats. We'll spend the day water skiing, tubing, and relaxing on the lake. Youth are welcome to invite a friend as well. We are also looking for a few parents who are willing to help drive and chaperone the trip. It'll be a FUN day you won't want to miss!! We invite you to bring your lawn chairs and join us at 10:15 a.m. for worship followed by a picnic. The church will provide meat, buns, and beverages, but we ask each family to bring a salad, side dish or dessert to share. All are welcome to this annual Abiding Presence tradition!

Our summer worship schedule begins the weekend of May 25/26. We will worship through Labor Day weekend on Saturdays at 6:00 p.m. and Sundays at 8:45 and 10:15 a.m.
On Sunday, June 2 we will have only one service at 10:15 a.m. for our annual outdoor service and picnic on lawn. There will be a service on Saturday, June 1 at 6:00 p.m. as usual.
Raising a child with ADHD has its challenges. If you're looking for group of fellow caregivers who relate to your experiences, come join our support group. The group is affiliated with CHADD, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by ADHD, and will meet on the last Thursday of each month. Do you have unwanted clothes and household items, but no time to have a yard sale? Here's a way to clean out all that stuff and help send our 14 Senior High youth and 3 chaperones to Savannah, GA for their summer Work Trip. Bag up your unwanted items and drop them off at Abiding Presence anytime until July 1st. The following items in good, clean condition are accepted: Clothing, Accessories (hats, belts, scarves, etc.), Shoes, Linens, Books and Small Household items. Every item donated turns into money to help send the youth of Abiding Presence to Savannah. We've partnered with the company FUNdrive who will pay us per pound of items collected, so tell your friends and spread the word! Our goal is to collect at least 2500 lbs! We will celebrate the Affirmation of Baptism of 15 of our young people at this festival service. The service will be longer than our usual service - 2 hours - and filled with music, prayers, scripture, preaching and the laying on of hands as we ask the Holy Spirit to confirm the faith of our young people.
