First Year Confirmation - Halloween Spooky Games

beth-teutschmann-154958-unsplash.jpg

As a way to have some fun and build relationships outside of our usual structured time, I'll be doing Halloween Spooky Games on Saturday, October 27 from 8:30-10:00 p.m. (this immediately follows the clergy group scheduled for that night, so hopefully that makes it convenient for many of you). We'll play some games and (weather permitting) make s'mores over the fire pit. In order to make this happen, I'll need a parent to please volunteer to help chaperone (a helpful-but-not-necessary skill to have is to be able to oversee the fire pit). Let me know if you are able to help and RSVP for your youth here

Families with Young Children Dinner

Join us as we launch a new group for families with young children* at Abiding Presence. We'll kick off with a potluck dinner in Bailey Hall at Abiding Presence. Please bring a main dish, side dish or dessert to share. The church will provide drinks and paper products.

Free childcare will be provided in the church nursery from 5:00-7:00 p.m. You are welcome to have your little ones with you at the dinner or take them into the nursery. Please indicate how many children you will have for the nursery when you RSVP so we can staff accordingly.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Pastor Meredith or Pastor Heidi. RSVP here.

*When we say "families with young children?" we mean that what the group has in common is that the majority of their children are age 3 and under. That said, there are no hard and fast rules. So, if you feel like you would fit in with this group, then so do we!

The group meets from 6:45-7:45 while children are in choir/small groups.  Nursery care is available.  First session will start 9/26.  Please contact Jennifer Johnson at jenjjohnson@outlook.com, Colleen Vesely at colleen.vesely@gmail.com, or Janet Jumper at janjumps@yahoo.com for questions.
