Support Group for Parents of Children with ADHD

Raising a child with ADHD has its challenges. If you're looking for group of fellow caregivers who relate to your experiences, come join our support group. The group is affiliated with CHADD, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by ADHD, and will meet on the last Thursday of each month. Parents Night Out - April 26th

Join us for a PARENTS’ NIGHT OUT on Friday, April 26! Drop off your kids and have a care free night on the town! The kids will have a blast at the Slumber Party themed parents night out. Children are encouraged to wear their pajamas, bring sleeping bags, and a favorite game to share. They will also have the option to watch the Incredibles 2 or Doc McStuffins.

Pre-registration is required, and space is limited, so sign below!

This is for children ages 3 (and potty trained) through age 12.

Drop-off begins 5:30 p.m. and pickup is by 9:00 p.m.

Suggested Price: $20 dollars for the 1st child, $10 for each additional child. Payment can be given at drop-off, and additional donations gladly accepted!

A cheese pizza dinner, popcorn snack, and dessert will be provided!

**Hosted by the Senior High Youth  (and supervised by their parents) as a fundraiser for their summer work trip.

Parents of 6th-12th grade youth are encouraged to participate in our monthly Parents of Teens Group. The group is facilitated by Dr. Erin Swenson-Reinhold, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and an experienced mother of teens. Parents gather for learning, conversation and support. No RSVP is necessary, simply show up!

At the heart of the Good Friday service is the reading of the passion according to John, which proclaims Jesus as a triumphant king who reigns from the cross.

The Children’s service at 6:45 p.m. is geared toward preschool through elementary school age children and families, but all ages are welcome to attend. Children will pray, sing and hear the Good Friday story in an age appropriate way. A pizza dinner will take place prior to the service at 6:00 p.m.

This 45 minute worship service will include prayers, hymns, scripture, a reflection by a member of the congregation and Holy Communion. It is a way to engage in the disciplines of Lent and return to the Lord this Lenten season.

Dinner will be held in Bailey Hall prior to the service at 6:00 p.m. Our professionally staffed nursery is open for children under 5 who may not be in a worshiping mood. Children ages preschool through 5th grade will have their usual Wednesday night rotations of choir and youth group. Sixth grade youth and older are encouraged to attend the service.

Drop-off is from 4:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m., and pickup is between 7:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
