We’ll be commemorating St. Francis of Assisi by holding an outdoor parking lot “Pet & Stuffed Animal Blessing” service.

Please note the following COVID precautions that we will be taking to keep everyone safe:

• All worshipers are required to wear a mask at all times on the church grounds. If you are feeling ill or have a possible exposure to COVID, please stay home.

• Each household will assigned when they arrive a socially distanced marked space in the parking lot. This will help keep both pets and people safe. You may stay in your car and tune into the service through our FM transmitter or bring lawn chairs to sit in front of your car. We will have an outdoor PA system so everyone can hear. Bulletins will be distributed in a safe, socially distanced way.

• The 20 minutes service will be a spoken service without singing. The service will include prayers, scripture, a reflection and the blessing of pets and stuffed animals.

• At the time of the blessing, pets and stuffed animals will be blessed in their parking spot from a safe physical distance.

• Worshipers are asked to please practice physical distancing before/after the service.
