We have a jam-packed summer of fun for teens!
Please note that due to limited capacity, the House Band, Leadership Academy and Abiding Fellows are opportunities for youth who are part of the Abiding Presence worshiping community or who are looking for a church home. Musical Theater Camp is open to everyone, from all faith backgrounds.
Teen Summer Experience Registration
Monday - Friday from 9:00-9:50 a.m. in the Sanctuary
New this summer! We're launching a "house band" to lead music at summer camp. The group will rehearse each morning under the leadership of Dr. David Chavez, Music & Worship Minister, and other professional musicians who we bring in to help. Instrumentalists and vocalists of all abilities are welcome and encouraged to participate, no audition necessary. Grow in your musical ability, get great coaching from professional musicians and have the opportunity to lead high-energy, interactive music each day.
Spots are limited! Youth can sign up for as many weeks as they would like. This is an opportunity for youth who are part of the Abiding Presence worshiping community or who are looking for a church home. Youth must also participate in the Leadership Academy or Abiding Fellows program since the band will play every afternoon as part of summer camp.
House Band is a $25/week add-on for participants in the Leadership Academy (rising 7th-9th grade), or a free add-on for the Abiding Fellows (rising 10th-12th grade) program. Abiding Fellows: contact Dr. Dave (dave@abidingpresence.net) for a coupon code.

Abiding Presence Leadership Academy (rising 7th-9th grade)
Monday - Friday from 10:00-3:30 p.m.
New this summer! We're rebranding our CIT program to become the "Abiding Presence Leadership Academy." Spend the morning in faith formation, thinking about how God is at work in the world and having fun with peers. In the afternoon, build leadership skills through being part of our summer camp team.
Youth can sign up for as many weeks as they would like and add on participation in the House Band. This is an opportunity for youth who are part of the Abiding Presence worshiping community or who are looking for a church home.
Cost: $125/week (sibling discount of $25/week per sibling who is attending the same week of preschool, elementary or Leadership Academy programming). Scholarships and financial assistance are available.
Rising 7th-12th grade
July 20-24, Monday - Friday from 9:00-3:00 p.m. • Performance on Friday, July 24 at 4:00 p.m.
Singers/Actors/Dancers: join us for a one-week intensive musical theater camp. We’ll put together a full production of Disney/Pixar’s Finding Nemo JR.—in only one week!
The camp and performance will take place at Abiding Presence.
Musical Theater Camp is a partnership between Abiding Presence Lutheran Church and Temple B’nai Shalom. It is an interfaith camp that seeks to build relationships among young people from a variety of backgrounds.
