Guest leader Rev. Ivan Ives is engaging the group in the six week ELCA study curriculum on Civic Life and Faith. Rev. Ives describes the study, writing, “I see it as a very valuable effort by the ELCA to give us some practice in using the tools of our Christian faith that could enable us to have meaningful conversations on very controversial issues with persons from different perspectives and heritages. We do not all have to agree with each other, but we can and should learn from each other.” New group members are always welcome to attend.
