AP Youth Week Of November 1st - 8th

Hello 7th-12th Grade Families,

I hope you all are doing well and staying safe.

We will not be meeting on Monday and Tuesday this week since school is out. I hope our students can take some time off and away from the screen to relax. This first quarter was a strange one and they all deserve a break.

The CROP Walk is Saturday, November 7 from 1:30-2:45 p.m. This year it will be held in the church parking lot following COVID-19 precautions. More information, including the sign up, is available here. I’ve missed seeing our students and I look forward to reconnecting with them at this event.

Next Sunday, November 8 we have several Music & Arts Small Groups that will be taking place in the parking lot. There will be small groups for band, orchestra and visual arts. More information, including the sign up, is available here and there are more details below.

Further down in this email is our November calendar of events. Hopefully the weather will hold out and we will be able to continue our parking lot events throughout the winter. A big thank you to all of the parents who have stepped up to help with Friday Night Lights. Events like this are only possible with lots of parent support.

Our Abiding Fellows (11th & 12th grade) will not have cohort meetings this week in order to give them time to work on their projects. Our first Abiding Fellow project will be the CROP Walk. We look forward to many more projects launching in the coming weeks.

If you have any questions, suggestions, or ideas as we head into fall, please do not hesitate to be in touch.

Blessings,

Mr. Jon
