Saturday Evening Worship

Abiding Presence has three services each weekend - Saturday at 6:00 p.m. and Sunday at 8:45 or 10:15 a.m. Our Saturday evening service is a great option for worship throughout the year, but we find many people especially enjoy the service in the summer.

On Saturday evenings we use Holden Evening Prayer, a sung evening prayer liturgy, for the beginning of the service. There is a children's sermon, regular sermon and Holy Communion as part of the service. We sing two traditional style hymns during the service. The service usually lasts around 50 minutes.

While you will find people wearing all sorts of different things at the service, it tends to be a more relaxed and casual crowd. Most people will be in shirts and slacks. Shorts are welcome and won't  be out of place at all. We'll be glad to see you in whatever you are wearing.
