Join us for a fun game of Youth BINGO during the Congregation’s Annual Meeting. While the congregation makes decisions about the business of the church, Youth will be seated with Pastor Kelsey and listening for words and phrases that come up on their cards. When you get a BINGO you get to yell it out loud! They’ll learn about how the church operates and what it means to be a voting member of Abiding Presence. It's Reformation Sunday! There will be an intergenerational Passport Fair during our Faith Formation Hour at 10:05 a.m. Kiddos are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes to worship and then work through all six of our Reformation stations with their families. Confirmation youth and families are invited to join us for a picnic. The church will provide hamburgers and hot dogs. We ask that each family please bring a side dish or dessert to share. We will be getting to know each other, talking through the confirmation program and experiencing what confirmation family group is like. Your whole household is invited to join us for this event. During the Sunday morning education time, confirmation students are in small groups learning about faith and life. All current 7th and 8th graders are encouraged to participate, regardless of if they have done confirmation previously. Sundays from September 8 - October 20 10:05-10:50 a.m.

Ninth graders will start the year off on Sunday mornings with Pastor Kelsey on the patio getting ready for their confirmation service on Sunday, October 27. They will share breakfast, build relationships and talk about what it means to be confirmed. All current 9th graders are encouraged to attend, regardless of if they have previously participated in confirmation activities.

May 5th at both the 9:00a.m. and 11:00a.m. services

On Youth Sunday all youth in 7-12th grade will be invited to help plan and participate in worship leadership. Confirmands Abiding Fellows, ad Abiding Fellow Apprentices will spend the weeks running up to Youth Sunday writing the service together. HS Seniors will give reflections. May 5th at both services.

Anxiety is something many of us struggle with, including many of our children. Join us for a FREE screening of this highly-acclaimed short documentary on youth anxiety, which will be followed by a Q&A with experts in our community. Childcare for ages 5-9 will be provided for those who register.

Calling all Confirmation aged youth and families! Are you interested in exploring and deepening your faith through learning about and discussing the word of God? If so, please join us at Abiding Presence for a cookout event to kickoff our new Confirmation classes this fall.

Come learn about the new youth & family minister Jon Galdames-Henry and the new youth program he will be running. July 31st at 6PM.

It's time to have some summer fun! Confirmation youth will participate together in the congregation-wide hot dogs and s'mores event (bring $4/person or $10/family for the donation). Youth Sunday Weekend is a beloved Abiding Presence tradition where all of our young people ages three through 12th grade help to write the prayers and lead the service. All children and youth are encouraged to participate. Contact Sara Dyson, Children and Family Minister, for more information.

All Year 2 confirmands are invited to come bowling!  Kids can be dropped off in Bailey Hall at 12:15 p.m. for a pizza lunch before we head over to the bowling alley around 1:00. The cost is $15/person for shoe rental, 2 games and pizza. Please RSVP to Pastor Heidi!
