The Sunday Club is a way for us to build community while doing fun things with our 3rd-5th grade students. Each month we will have lunch and then do things like visit the Udvar-Hazy Center, learn about urban farming at Area 2 Farms, and more! To make these events possible, we need 3-4 parent drivers/chaperones to help with each event. If you are able to help in this way, please note that on the sign-up at checkout. Note: all chaperones will need to be background checked prior to the event.

To sign-up for an event, you can add it to your cart and then click the cart button in the top right corner of the page. Follow all the steps, including filling out the registration form, to sign-up for the event. If you have questions, you can reach out to our Children & Family Minister, Michaela Silvis.

Sunday Club Area 2 Farms Urban Farming Trip
$5.00

Sunday, March 22
from 12:00-2:00 p.m.

In March, we are going to Area 2 Farms to learn about urban farming! These are local farmers who are helping their neighbors get fresh produce. Learn about how to farm in a city, the benefits of composting and maybe even learn about how worms have a place in farming.

Following worship we will meet in Bailey Hall at 12:00 noon for pizza lunch and then carpool to Area 2 Farms. We need parent chaperones and drivers, which you can sign-up for on the registration form.

There is a suggested donation of $5.00/student for our pizza lunch. If you need financial assistance, please use the code PIZZA at checkout to reduce the fee.

All students should be picked up at 2:00 p.m. from Area 2 Farms (2600 S Oxford St, Arlington, VA 22206).

*Please fill out the waiver (blue button) if you are participating in our Area 2 Farms Urban Farm Trip. In the School box you can list “Abiding Presence.”
