College Age Summer Internship
Abiding Presence is bringing back paid College-Age Internships this summer!
Graduated high school seniors through 24 year olds are invited to apply. Abiding Presence College-Age Interns will spend the summer serving as Summer Camp Staff, gathering for devotions daily, and spending time with other interns and members of the community in faith formation once a week. Graduated high school seniors will make $15/hour. College-Age Interns (with at least one year of post high school experience) will make $17/hour. All of our College Age Interns work as part of our Summer Camp staff program. For more info about the Summer Camp Program, click here.
Important details:
College-Age Internships will run beginning May 20 through July 31
Summer Camp Staff Training will begin May 20th and camps start May 26th.
Mid summer break is June 29-July 3. No interns will work that week.
Sample Daily Schedule:
Arrival at Abiding Presence 8:55 a.m.
Faith Formation (Morning Prayer and Bible Study) 9:00-10:00 a.m.
Leadership Formation (participating as leaders in our middle or high school program) 10:00-11:10 a.m.
Lunch 11:10-11:40
Camp 11:45-3:00
Wrap Up & Debrief 3:00-3:30 p.m.

We are expanding our off site camps with partner organizations this summer. If there are weeks that you are NOT available to work off site (finishing at 4:30p.m. instead of 3:30p.m.) please indicate that in the scheduling notes of your application.
