Join us in celebrating the beginning of the Advent season by making Advent Wreaths with live evergreen! This workshop will not only smell, sound, and feel like Christmas, but we will explore together the significance of wreaths in the Advent season.
Anxiety is something many of us struggle with, including many of our children. Join us for a FREE screening of this highly-acclaimed short documentary on youth anxiety, which will be followed by a Q&A with experts in our community. Childcare for ages 5-9 will be provided for those who register.
Do you have unwanted clothes and household items, but no time to have a yard sale? Here's a way to clean out all that stuff and help send our 14 Senior High youth and 3 chaperones to Savannah, GA for their summer Work Trip. Bag up your unwanted items and drop them off at Abiding Presence anytime until July 1st. The following items in good, clean condition are accepted: Clothing, Accessories (hats, belts, scarves, etc.), Shoes, Linens, Books and Small Household items. Every item donated turns into money to help send the youth of Abiding Presence to Savannah. We've partnered with the company FUNdrive who will pay us per pound of items collected, so tell your friends and spread the word! Our goal is to collect at least 2500 lbs! Youth Sunday Weekend is a beloved Abiding Presence tradition where all of our young people ages three through 12th grade help to write the prayers and lead the service. All children and youth are encouraged to participate. Contact Sara Dyson, Children and Family Minister, for more information.

You won't want to miss the annual Senior High Christmas party! We'll decorate ginger bread houses, play Christmas games, have a white elephant gift exchange, and more! Youth are encouraged to bring a friend, a white elephant gift if they'd like to participate, and show up ready to have some FUN!
