Our Music Production Camp students have been hard at work learning all sorts of new recording techniques. Join them for a livestream concert of their individual works at AbidingPresence.net/live. Middle School (rising 7th grade and above) and high school (including those who graduate in June) students interested in music production and multitrack recording technology: this is your opportunity! Ready to see firsthand how we put together the music and audio-for-video that is part of online worship every week? Want to record your own songs? Join David Chávez, our Music & Worship Minister for a one-week online camp where you will learn basics of multitrack recording and audio mixing/editing in the home studio. This camp runs June 29 through July 3, and consists of daily online sessions as well as independent projects. No prior experience is required; as long as you have a computer at home, you can participate. While there is no cost for registration, space is limited, so visit AbidingPresence.net/music to sign up! Anyone of any age can participate, on any instrument or voice part! Here is how it works: Starting March 14, visit AbidingPresence.net/music to view the leader video and download sheet music or lyric sheets for your instrument or voice part.
Don't read music? No problem! We have parts for all instruments/voices and skill levels, and videos to teach them.
Put on headphones and sing or play along with the video.
Record yourself (or your family and friends together!) singing/playing; the easiest is to use your phone or tablet's video camera or voice recording app (like Voice Memos on iPhone or iPad).
Send your video or audio recording to David Chávez, Music & Worship Minister, at dave@abidingpresence.net.
The deadline is 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18. Dave will mix and edit the recordings together to make one unified virtual choir performance, which will be part of Sunday worship on March 22!

It's time to have some summer fun! Confirmation youth will participate together in the congregation-wide hot dogs and s'mores event (bring $4/person or $10/family for the donation).
