Come learn about how the food pantry operates, help pray over the produce and the people who are coming, and learn about service as a spiritual discipline. We would also like to invite your family to participate in our ongoing Snack & Ziploc Bag donation for the Food Pantry. Please bring a box of your favorite pre-packaged snack and/or a box of ziploc bags (brand does not matter) to help us provide snacks for our Food Pantry families. Wednesday, March 5

Our interactive, children's service invites kids to worship with their whole body. Geared toward preschool and elementary school age families, this 30-minute service is a way for kids to embark on the Lenten journey. We will offer ashes to those who want them and celebrate Holy Communion. There will be prayers, music, scripture and the chance to learn what Ash Wednesday is all about in age-appropriate ways.

This year we will be hosting a Pizza Dinner for families to gather together prior to the service. Join us for a time of faith and fellowship as we prepare ourselves for the season of Lent.

Abiding Presence is welcoming Santa for bagels and photos! Enjoy our FREE community event with a photographer on site taking photos of your family with Santa. Our professional photographer will have digital photos back in time for the holidays, within a couple weeks of the event. We’ll also have a bagel bar, coffee, crafts for kids and adults alike.

Advent is a time of watching, waiting and preparing for Christ to come. The Advent wreath is one of the tools we use to mark time in our waiting. Join us during the education hour for an intergenerational Advent wreath making workshop. Wreath forms, decorations and candles, will be provided. Show up with your household to make an Advent wreath to take home and use.

For over 30 years, the congregation of Abiding Presence Lutheran Church and Temple B’nai Shalom have come together to worship on Thanksgiving Eve. We are enthusiastically inviting our Kindergarten through 6th Grade kiddos to join our Thanksgiving Eve Kids Choir. We will join with kids from Temple B’nai Shalom and sing two songs.
