There are lots of reasons people look for a church home. Sometimes it is because of a move, a life event or a transition. It could be that you keep hearing that still, small voice of God in your heart or have a nagging feeling that maybe there's more to life than what you are currently experiencing. Maybe you want to find a community and friends. Perhaps you have a child who you would like to have baptized or are recently engaged and looking for a church in which you can get married. You (or your kids) might have big questions about God and are looking for answers. Whatever your reason, we're glad that you are looking for a church home and we're especially glad you are looking at Abiding Presence.
We know that looking for a church home can feel a bit daunting at first, so here are a few steps to get you started:
Worship - While there are a lot of ways to get a taste of the Abiding Presence community, worship is what is central to who we are. Join us for in-person worship in the sanctuary on a Sunday morning. These services are also on the livestream at those same times if you would like to worship with us online. You can also check out our archive of worship services and get a feel of who we are.
Let us know you are here - Use on online check in form for worship online or email Pastor Keseley, Senior Pastor, so that she can welcome you, answer any questions and support you on your faith journey.
Get involved in one thing - Pick a ministry area and get involved! Volunteer with our food ministry, attend an adult education class or have your kids participate in Sunday School. This will let you meet a few other people and move from attending church to being the church. At Abiding Presence, the church isn't just a building. The church is the people! You are the church. We are the church. Being the church is what makes church feel like home.
