Abiding Presence 20's & 30's is a community of younger adults who walk the way of faith, hope and love together. We seek to grow in relationship with God and each other, sharing our joys and challenges, doubts and questions, passions and concerns. No matter where you are on your faith journey, there's always a place at Jesus' table, come pull up a chair and join us! We're also active on social media, so you can follow us online and keep updated on our happenings. The group is led by Pastor Heidi Eickstadt, Pastor for Discipleship, who is part of the 20s & 30s crowd herself. Pastor Eickstadt is always up for grabbing a cup of coffee or a pint to chat about faith and life with our 20s and 30s.

Pub Theology

Beer, Conversation and God. NOVA Pub Theology is a gathering space for those in their 20's & 30's of all faith and non-faith backgrounds to come together and respectfully dialogue and question over life, spirituality, culture and society. No agenda, no catch, no debates or shouting matches. Just a celebration of the diversity of our community and how we can challenge and learn from each other.

Join us at the pub for some good brews, appetizers and conversation. We'll start with some icebreakers and then kick off a discussion with a topic or two for the night. Please contact Pastor Heidi Eickstadt with any questions or concerns or if you have any ideas or suggestions!

"Some of the most important moments in the history of the church took place in the pub: Luther kick started the Reformation over a few pints. The Church of England was started in the White Horse tavern. Hymns like ‘Love Divine, All Loves Excelling’ were inspired by pub music. And seemingly all the best conversations take place in the pub. The format is simple: beer, conversation, and God. Everything is up for discussion, no assumptions, no barriers to entry. If you are going to get upset because someone questions something that is important to you maybe this isn’t for you, but if you think that whatever might be true ought to be able to stand up to being questioned, maybe it is."

Small Groups

Abiding Presence 20s & 30s host a few small groups throughout the year. These groups meet around a specific topic or book and provide an opportunity to dig a bit deeper into faith and grow in relationship with God and each other. Let Pastor Heidi Eickstadt know if you want to be a part!
